The Cîţu cabinet approved the draft 2021 state budget, which will now go to parliament for approval. After a visit to Brussels, the prime minister announced that Romania could join the Schengen Area as early as this year and introduce the euro in 2027 or 2028. Nu is er eindelijk ook goed nieuws rond “OneCoin”, de frauduleuze cryptovaluta van de Bulgaarse entrepreneur Ruja Ignatova, die in het najaar van 2017 in rook opging, evenals de vier miljard euro van investeerders. Vier jaar na haar verdwijning sluit zich het net rond OneCoin en zijn diverse hooggeplaatste medewerkers gearresteerd.
